Tuscola & Sullivan Eye Care Clinics are full service eye clinics with a large modern optical department. We offer stylish, designer frames for children and adults. Dr Boyd and Dr. Best treat all diseases and infections of the eye, as well as eye trauma and injury. They are therapeutically licensed to diagnose and treat diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. They provide thorough, comprehensive refractive exams and prescribe eyeglasses and contacts including new bifocal contacts.
We also carry prescription sunglasses and safety glasses. Patients will receive a custom fitting from a certified optician.

Dr. Thomas C. Best is a licensed doctor of optometry. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1973. He then graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois in 1977. He practiced in Lansing, Illinois until 1982, then moved to Sullivan, Illinois where he continues to practice today. He opened Tuscola Eye Care Center in 1994 and enjoys practicing in both offices. He lives in Sullivan, Illinois with his wife, Emilee. They have one grown son, Jeff and two grandsons they are very proud of.

Dr. Jamison T. Boyd is a licensed doctor of optometry. He graduated from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois in 1991. He then graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois in 1995. He then began working with Dr. Thomas C. Best at the Tuscola Eye Care Center in Tuscola, Illinois, Sullivan Eye Care in Sullivan, Illinois and The Center for Sight with Ophthalmologist, Phillip Alward in Decatur, Illinois. He lives in Tuscola with his wife, Brandi and their two daughters, Makenna and Maddy.
